eyetouch Supports Childhood Cancer Care Through the Bridges of Hope Initiative
As part of its ongoing commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility, eyetouch joined the Lions Club of Nicosia “Onasagoras” in supporting an important initiative dedicated to children undergoing cancer treatment in Cyprus.
The collaboration formed part of the childhood cancer initiative “Bridges of Hope: Diplomatic Hearts & Lions with Unity & in Service,” held in Nicosia on 12 May 2026. Through its generous contribution, eyetouch supported the acquisition of specialised medical equipment for paediatric cancer care at Makarios III Hospital in Nicosia.
The ceremony was attended by distinguished representatives from the healthcare, diplomatic, institutional, and charitable communities. The event also featured an address by the Honourable Minister of Health of the Republic of Cyprus and was attended by H.E. the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Cyprus, highlighting the importance of international cooperation and collective action in supporting children and families affected by cancer.
Representing eyetouch, Ehsan Amiri, Founder and CEO, participated in the initiative and the official presentation at the hospital. His presence reflected the company’s belief that businesses have a responsibility to contribute meaningfully to the communities in which they operate, particularly where support can create a direct and lasting impact on people’s lives.
The initiative brought together members of the Lions Club, healthcare professionals, government and diplomatic representatives, community supporters, and partner organisations with a shared objective: strengthening the medical resources available to children receiving cancer treatment and supporting the professionals who care for them.
In recognition of his participation and generous contribution, Ehsan Amiri received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Lions Club of Nicosia “Onasagoras.”
