The eyetouch Story

From a vision in Cyprus to a platform for intelligent living — think smart, live smart.

Think Smart, Live Smart.

Brand Story

How eyetouch grew

Every chapter of the journey — from the first question in Cyprus to an island-wide intelligent living platform.

The story of eyetouch began with a simple but ambitious question: how could technology make everyday life feel more intuitive, more secure and more human?

By 2019, Ehsan Amiri had established his business operations in Cyprus and was building the foundations for a company that could design, source and deliver advanced technology solutions locally. Yet the goal was never to create another conventional technology supplier. The vision was to develop a brand with its own identity — one capable of bringing together smart-home automation, security, energy management, lighting, sound and digital control as a single, carefully designed experience.

On 1 October 2019, eyetouch was born.

Its name was designed to carry more than one meaning. The word “eye” represented vision, awareness and the ability to see what others might overlook. “Touch” represented connection: the moment technology responds naturally to a person, a space or a need. The visual identity also suggested both an eye and a smile, expressing intelligence without losing warmth.

The original colour journey — moving from deep blue towards bright yellow — represented the complete cycle of day and night. It reflected a promise that would become central to the brand: to remain present around the clock, helping people live more comfortably, operate more efficiently and feel more secure.

The first website concepts were developed within days of the brand’s creation, beginning around 3 October 2019. But eyetouch was not intended to remain only a design concept. The brand was introduced publicly almost immediately.

In October 2019, Ehsan presented eyetouch for the first time at GITEX in Dubai, carrying newly printed eyetouch materials and introducing the young brand within one of the world’s most active technology environments. Later that same month, eyetouch was introduced to manufacturers and technology companies at the Canton Fair in China.

Those early international appearances were significant. They established a pattern that still defines eyetouch today: learning directly from global innovation, building relationships with manufacturers and engineers, and then adapting the best technologies to the practical requirements of Cyprus.

Following the exhibitions, Ehsan began detailed discussions with designers, manufacturers, engineers and smart-home solution providers. The objective was not simply to collect products. It was to understand how hardware, software and user experience could be integrated into dependable systems — and how those systems could be designed specifically for the climate, buildings, lifestyles and expectations of the Cypriot market.

On 7 November 2019, the first eyetouch samples arrived in Cyprus and were installed in a villa in Ayia Napa. The installation was deliberately treated as a pilot: an opportunity to test quality, reliability, integration and real-world performance before presenting the solutions to a wider market.

This practical approach became part of the company’s culture. Technology would not be selected because it looked impressive in a catalogue. It needed to perform in real spaces, under real conditions, and create measurable value for the people using it.

The arrival of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 interrupted international travel, slowed development and limited the face-to-face collaboration on which a young technology brand normally depends. Cyprus entered lockdown, supply chains became less predictable and the pace of expansion had to change.

eyetouch did not stop. The period became a test of persistence. Product research, technical development and international communication continued under difficult conditions, and in December 2020 the company opened its first small shared office in Nicosia. It was a modest beginning — a single small room — but it gave the brand a physical base and a place from which to continue building.

During the 2020–2021 period, the eyetouch trademark progressed through formal registration in Cyprus. This step gave legal structure to the brand that had first been created as a vision and tested through practical work.

In June 2021, eyetouch launched its Instagram presence, creating a public window into the brand’s projects, ideas and development. The following month, the company moved into a new office in Nicosia and transformed the space into a working demonstration of intelligent technology.

The office became far more than a workplace. It was used as a living laboratory for smart air-conditioning control, energy optimisation, safety and fire-detection systems, CCTV and security, smart locks and integrated automation. Clients and partners could see how different technologies operated together in a real environment rather than as isolated devices.

This period also marked the expansion of eyetouch Security and the beginning of a broader integrated-services model. The company was no longer focused only on smart-home control. It was developing a platform that could connect comfort, protection, energy performance and operational intelligence.

Throughout 2021 and 2022, eyetouch delivered smart-home and smart-villa projects across Cyprus. Each project strengthened the company’s technical knowledge and refined the way its teams designed, installed and supported integrated systems.

One important milestone was the Lonida 22 show house for Giovani Group, completed in December 2021. The project demonstrated how smart technology could be incorporated into a high-quality residential environment without compromising architecture or design.

As the number and scale of projects grew, customers increasingly wanted to experience the systems before making decisions. In September 2022, eyetouch committed to creating its first dedicated showroom — a space where automation, lighting, security, sound, climate control and other solutions could be explored as one connected experience.

The technical and service unit was formally developed in October 2022, strengthening the company’s capacity not only to sell solutions, but also to install, commission, maintain and support them over the long term.

The new showroom in Nicosia was designed, renovated and automated over several intensive months. Display panels were built, demonstration systems were installed and the space itself was transformed into a complete smart environment. By February 2023, the showroom was becoming fully operational.

In March 2023, eyetouch expanded its premium audio and lifestyle offering through a formal commercial relationship with Bang & Olufsen, bringing demonstration systems into the showroom and connecting world-class sound and design with the wider smart-living experience.

The showroom held its grand opening on 10 June 2023. The event brought together diplomats, embassy representatives, former ministers, public officials, municipal representatives, architects, developers, business partners and members of the media. Cyprus television and news organisations covered the opening, marking a major transition in the eyetouch story: the brand had moved from a small 2019 concept to a visible, established technology destination.

Growth also brought a stronger sense of responsibility. On 6 June 2023, eyetouch supported students participating in mathematics and chemistry Olympiads through a donation and awards event at the Cyprus Ministry of Education. Ehsan spoke at the event and presented financial awards to students, establishing education, scientific development and support for young people as an important pillar of the brand’s social responsibility.

eyetouch has also supported community organisations and cultural initiatives, including recurring support for AGBU and Armenian community events in Cyprus. These activities reflect a wider belief: intelligent progress should not be measured only through technology, but also through the opportunities a company helps create for people and communities.

From 20 to 22 October 2023, eyetouch exhibited at Ideal Home in Nicosia. Its presence brought home automation into a major public exhibition environment through live demonstrations, interviews, gifts and direct engagement with visitors. The stand helped make smart-living technology more accessible and allowed families, homeowners, architects and developers to interact with the brand face to face.

The company returned to Ideal Home in October 2024 with an even stronger presentation. The stand received positive attention from visitors and organisers, while family-oriented gifts and giveaways created a particularly warm response among children. The exhibition also generated significant growth in eyetouch’s social-media audience.

In October 2025, eyetouch created a new prominent entrance stand for Ideal Home in Nicosia. The team worked around the clock to deliver a striking, highly finished environment. The stand attracted attention from news media, embassies, government representatives, architects, developers, builders and the wider public. Each year, the exhibition presence had become more ambitious, more polished and more reflective of the company’s growing capabilities.

Behind the public growth of eyetouch was an intensive programme of international research. Ehsan continued travelling to technology, lighting and security exhibitions in China, Germany and other markets, meeting manufacturers, studying new systems and evaluating how emerging technologies could be adapted for Cyprus.

In 2023, eyetouch participated in a major security exhibition in China. From 2024 onward, the company maintained a regular presence at major lighting and technology events in Frankfurt, while also attending a leading security exhibition in Germany in September 2024. These visits were not ceremonial. They were working missions focused on product evaluation, technical exchange, partnership development and continuous improvement.

The same philosophy guided internal development. Staff received specialist training in sound, security, alarms and related technologies, including international training outside Cyprus. eyetouch also expanded its lighting capabilities through its involvement with the Auraluxe brand and continued developing specialized products, including early power-track samples designed for the Cyprus market.

This international-to-local model remains one of eyetouch’s defining strengths: identify the best ideas from around the world, test them carefully, adapt them intelligently and support them locally.

By the end of 2024, eyetouch had completed a growing portfolio of projects across Cyprus. One of the company’s flagship villa projects at Ayia Napa Marina was selected for professional filming as a case study, allowing the design, technology and finished user experience to be presented in detail.

In April 2025, eyetouch was also presented at InvestPro Cyprus, extending the brand’s visibility among an international business and investment audience.

These milestones reflected more than expansion. They showed a company becoming increasingly confident in its ability to combine engineering, design and service — and increasingly capable of communicating that value to homeowners, architects, developers, institutions and international partners.

Today, eyetouch represents the result of years of research, travel, experimentation, resilience and hands-on project experience. It has grown from a name and visual concept developed in 2019 into an integrated smart-living platform serving residential, commercial and institutional environments.

Its work brings together home and building automation, smart lighting, security and CCTV, access control, intelligent climate management, energy optimisation, safety systems, sound and connected control. But the purpose remains the same as it was at the beginning: to make technology feel natural, useful and reassuring.

eyetouch continues to look outward for new ideas while remaining deeply connected to Cyprus. The company studies global innovation, develops local expertise, trains its people and builds long-term relationships with customers and partners. Its next chapter will be defined by the same principles that shaped its first: curiosity, quality, responsibility and the belief that truly intelligent technology should improve the way people live.
